The Jefferson Animal Hospital is a full service animal clinic in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Our veterinarians have been serving the greater Baton Rouge community for over 30 years, since we opened our doors in February of 1979. We have a passion for service, pet care and pet wellness. When families go out of town and are unable to take their pet along, it is often the cause of some stress and even guilt. We have a lovely pet boarding facility, where your pet will be cared for as he would at home. Since our Baton Rouge pet boarding facility is connected to our animal clinic, it is also an animal emergency and pet urgent care facility, where there is always a veterinarian either present or on call. We want you to know that your pet is in the best of hands should an animal emergency arise during their stay with us. Because of our status as an animal hospital, we are able to handle to boarding of senior pets who may require additional services or attention, and higher maintenance pets which may require daily doses of medication.

Our pet boarding facility is spacious and if your animal is social, it is an excellent way for him to play with a bevy of new friends.
